Team Malta
Team Malta representing the Malta Bowling Association has a glorious history. The team has won 43 gold medals at the MEDITERRANEAN BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIPS over 26 editions. Three editions were held in Malta (1999, 2005 and 2019).
Sue Abela won two times (2) the European championships, last championship won in November 2021 held in Greece.
Mark Spiteri finished 3rd in the World Senior Championships held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Won the European Senior Championships in 2020 held in Vienna, Austria.
Mark Spiteri is the current National Coach. Helping the national coach within the MBA coaching schemes have Giancarlo Tolu, Rick Vogelesang and Danial Swift.
